Wrinkles may have been a rat, something people don't like, but she was one of my favorite pets. She d my ex from the very start, always bit him when he touched her or yelled at me. He called her a 'nut sac' all the time because she was a hairless rat. ::rolls eyes::
I saved her from an abusive owner who had burned her face with a lighter because she had refused to mate with his male rat, him. He was going to throw her in the river once he'd finished burning her. I said no, I'll take her. She stayed with me for two years before she peacefully passed away in her sleep, curled up with her best friend Hope, who followed shortly after her from a large tumor on her hip.

Rest in peace Wrinkles
Dear Shannon, I'm so sorry that Wrinkles died, female rats seem to have many health issues when they reach 18 months of age due to hormone changes (menopause).
I too adore rats they have huge personalities and are so loving and cuddly, they really are like mini-dogs. I have three called Honey, Jesse and Sassy who I love dearly, unfortunately Honey has a pituitary tumour. She is still enjoying life even though she can hardly walk and has to be syringe fed, she loves to be cuddled and bruxes and boggles like mad. Anyway I hope the loss of Wrinkles has'nt stopped you from having more rats as you have much more love to give these misunderstood babies. Kind regards Debra.

Wrinkile is georgous honey we had two rats also called Itchy and Scratchy.
they are the best pets in the world to keep i dont understand people who dont like them .
i am so sorry you lost her sweetie she will be up in heaven playing with itchy and scratchy
